Welcome to the MR fraternity. I had the 5th to 4th syndrome for a while when I was shifting to sixth gear. Also, having driven 5 speeeds for so long I sometimes forget that 6th is even there.

 

I had to get the mr, my first two cars were 6-speeds, so when I test drove the IX, it just didn't feel right I probably coulda got used to it but I'm glad I went with the MR, I also like how the shifter sits up higher to

 

i dont know if ireally like the tall shifter, do they make a short shifter for the mr yet??

Works does an in-house only short shift kit for the MR, but it doesnt really lower the height of it.
