Is this normal? safe?

Ok, I just made a trip from Orlando to South of Miami(homestead) and on the way down I stoped to get gas and noticed that I had a lot of white residue in my muffler. This happed last time I ran race gas(3-4 weeks ago), and I just had race gas this past wed., but I filled up and half tanked it since than. It just seemed like it was a lot this time.

The whole way down I was going about 75-80 mph, in the 14.xx AFR, and about 10lbs of vaccum, that was crusing and was what I was doing almost the whole way.

I just wanted to make sure I wasnt running it too lean for to long and messing something up. I know it wasn't lean in boost, but it just has me slightly worried.

Thanks

It's from the LEADED race gas as you already know...

Why would anyone put "leaded"110 fuel in when you can run 100 unleaded, is the extra 10 pnts worth it? I thought that the lead was bad for the car.

It's not "bad" for the car - it's just bad for the o2 sensor if you use leaded gas a lot. It will eventually foul out. If you can find 100 or 104 unleaded, then it's just as good for you, but some tracks don't even have unleaded race gas.

It is from the leaded gas. I ran 30K miles of 110 leaded thru my motor, and the 02's are fine, even the one that comes on the AEM UEGO gauge. I guess I am lucky.
