Just wondering if someone can explain why carbon fiber front lips cost as much, if not more, than a carbon fiber front hood?

 

Maybe because the demand for CF hood > CF lip

 

supply and demand, if they have less of them they are going to be higher

 

So it's a self inflated market? There's no shortage of carbon fiber in the world and usually when there is a demand you ramp up supply unless there's a shortage of material. So Carbon front lips are the Debeer's of the body part market? Hmmm seems there's a niche to be filled, I bet you could sell high quality pre-preg carbon lips for around $275 ea and you would sell more of them and make more money than selling fewer items at an inflated price.
