Placing Evo on trailer

I'm driving from MI, to FL. I'll be towing my car with a rental truck. Any precautions reccomned. I know the trucks kick up rocks, not sure of good way to protect the car with out causing more damage. Some people mentioned wood to help load/unload. Not sure if neccesary, I'm on stock susp/tire except for rear sway. I'll be on 75 the whole way, so should be decent roads. Thanks for the help.

dont worry... your evo will be fine.... depending on the trailer i might use wood to prop up the ramps to make them "longer" or not as steep. Dont worry about rocks... i pull my Evo with my dually and it has 4 big tires and i dont really have any problems.... just make sure you strap it down tight incase you hit the brakes.

Bring some wood, strap it down tight, and you'll be a-ok

If you are concerned about debris hitting the car, shrink wrap it. Any decent marine store will have shrink wrapping kits large enough for a boat, it should be more than enough for your evo.
