Good ego stroking there! BTW, did it sound like he thought the intercooler was just under the hood vents (ala STI)? Maybe I misread . . . but good review!

Lol I've always thought the Evo was one of the easiest cars in the world to drive fast in with AWD and all the electronic driver aids. He should try driving an old 911....

I agree. The EVO is by far the most predictable car i've driven while at its sheer limits. I've been behind the wheel from ferraris, porsches, masaratis, lotus, and more. The EVO definitely lets you know when things are going to go wrong before it happens IMO.

nice review i even like his pitfalls shows he knows more about the evo than most

More pitfalls: The Lancer Evolution has a healthy appetite for clutches and tires, and Mitsubishi is famous for voiding the warranty if they even suspect you've been racing (odd, considering that's what the Evo is designed to do).

Great write up...just makes me even more excited that I picked this over the STi last weekend.

I would also agree that the car is predictable and I can feel when its right on the edge and slippy over into "quasi" danger area.

Its amazing the feeling I have for the car and its been less then a week. This will of course grow more and more I drive it.

When I was in my WRX (yes I know its apples to oranges) u had a sense, but when the car started to slip away from you it was too late...with this though, I feel like I can just tell whats going on.

I dont know...just my two cents

he's talking about the two little circles in the front bumper that direct air to the intercooler.
