Does this intake combo fit?
I thought i read somewhere on this forum or socalevo.net , that the hks maf intake pipe can be used with the apex-i cone filter setup. Im not talking about the same pipe used in the hks rs suction intake kit , its the hks maf intake pipe designed to work with the stock air-box . Can anyone confirm this ?
any intake kit unless it is cold air will fit whatever size filter the MAF ADAPTER is. so if you buy the apexi maf adapter filter combo, which you must cuz you can't buy the filter alone. then it will fit on the end of you maf and the hks rs will hook your maf to the turbo.

The filter does NOT mate up to the charge pipe. It mates to the MAF. So whatever works with stock MAF opening will work with whatever pipe you want.

The only thing I can think of is that the HKS filter is not as tall as the apexi filter, so you may have fitment issues around the intercooler sprayer reservoir if your Evo has one.
