im pretty sure the evo went slow in the beginning on purpose as to show that it can easily pass the GTO even on the first turn.

well with everything said about that clutch..I think you have to be a PURE MASTER (and the STig is no Cart racer) at Launching the FQ400.

Reading on LANCER REGISTRY, the guys that own them there say its a P.I.T.A to get it off the line for its Claimed "SUper Fast 0-60=___"<---can't remember what it does.

I believe it has some form of GT30R turbo Turbo with a boat load of lag. I bet some U.S. Tuning along with a better FMIC and a cat removal could not only get another 50-100WHP from that FQ, you would have faster spool too.

 

And some cams as the FQ uses stock cams...
