Where are people finding these in different colors?

I've seen a few with amber ones and some smoked...I assume they are painting them or..?

 

You can order them from Japan, they're the same ones as the 3000GT and or paint them.

I really would like to find a smoked set.

 

Smoke them yourself or you can buy a smoked set off of ebay.co.uk. I put in side repeaters gto. They run about 35-45 USD.

 

I smoked mine myself with the spray on ****. They are way darker, infact in pictures they looked shaved on my TB. But they still blink fine .

W5W chromium, looks clear, blinks amber like stock. Cleans them up nicely without resorting to modding the plastic.

How hard is this to install? Does it require removal of fender liner etc....Also, on japanparts, I assume that the price is for a pair at 36 bux, right? Thanks!

 

Hey since we are on the subject of fender turn signals, I was wondering if any of your fender turn signals are on when the headlights are on? I noticed that on other cars, their fender turn signals are on when they have the headlights on. Mine doesn't turn on unless I use the signals only.


Yes the price is for a pair on Japanparts.com. I bought mine from them. My car is pretty low so I jacked up one side, unclip a few clips from the fender liner, then took the turn signal out. Then put the new one in and put the clips back. I didn't take out the whole fender liner. If your arms are big you might need to take out the fender liner though.
