We took of the dvd/navi unit from an EVO MR and after pulling all the wires out , we test drove it and everything was good.

After that, we installed the stock head unit back on and then the RPM meter is not working at all, we have no idea wat's wrong since we didn't touch any wire after uninstall everything, anyone know what could be the problem?

Everything else works fine include the stock headunit, only the rpm not working..

hhmm, did you lose the light also, maybe a fuse?
