Several turbo retailers pack that way. Makes it possible to rule out "shipping damage" as the reason for any problems with the turbo. That way when the customer or shop doing the install drops the turbo on the ground they can rule out any damage occuring in transit

Uh that seems good to me. If your going with the TME your probably not going for raw power, spool and response is just as important as hp.

why upgrade ur turbo for such minimal gains............. You can easily extract the same amount of power from the car with other mods........... TME,20g, etc are all just scams........... if your serious about upgrading your turbo, in my opinion you should start no lower than a GT30R if you want to see any gains that are worth your money.

read the post above you kf6ytc

not everyone goes for raw power...spool and response are just as important...personally when I get a hold of my evo I'll be going with the same set up I don't want a gt30r but I would like more than just a flash and tbe will provide

I think it's a great mod for those not looking to go crazy and want the car for everyday driving with no worries...not to say a gt30r evo can't be a daily driver but you get my point

People are forgetting the LOW end torque that turbo offers on top of being able to get stock WHP numbers, it'll get you out of the Whole FAST, kinda why the Evo IX is so fast without cams, low end baby.

no flames from me,

i do realize turbo kits do exist and up to now some shops are offering great setups too, for fast spool and high power. the cost for them is another thing and there's nothing holding me back from purchasing them, but for me it's about the aura of the car i have, sometimes we need to just stand back and see how much we spent and what we've done with our rides.

i don't want to mod it into oblivion with power parts, body kits, wheels etc etc (i came close to that on many occasions) it just won't feel the same, i'm sure of it.
