I installed BR fmic w/ lower and upper ic piping, mini battery kit, GReddy RS BOV and mass air pipe w/ filter kit.
The next morning after the installation I had to run a few errands and thought it would be all right to drive with out the MBC as long as I didn't drive it hard.
I was still waiting for UPS to show with my MBC.
Well to get to the point. I started to drive the car down the road in first gear, when I got to about 4500 rpm's and all of a sudden the car lost power and the bov released the air.
I immediately pulled over and check the engine, every thing seemed fine so I reved it a little bit and that seemed fine.
So I got back in and started to drive it home but the car won't go over 2500 rpm's. Boost won't go over 0 psi and the car bucks at 2500 rpm's.
The only way to drive the car is to shift at 2500 rpm's. because it bucks like crazy no matter how much throttle I give it. The engine revs fine though.
When my MBC finally showed up, I installed it and the car still drives the same.
Did I break the turbo or something and how do I find out whats wrong with it. I don't even know if it was the lack of a boost controller that would have caused this.

Could be:
1) One of your boost hoses came off or
2) An intake coupling blew off or
3) Your intake pipe detached and you are sucking unmetered air
This very same thing happened to me a few days ago. Your car probably isn't f***ed.

Check your I/C piping. The NUmber on cause sounds like a I/C piping has come undone. Check your I/C piping to make sure the clamps are tight and check the pipes connected to the intercooler/ from the intercooler/ and your intake manifold.
Massive boost leak maybe? The car won't drive well at all if you have a large boost leak, and I know firsthand that the BR I/C isn't very easy to install. I'd start by checking where the LICP bolts on to the turbo. that's often a hard connection to make tight if you don't tighten down the allen bolts enough.

OMFG, I hope its that simple, but when I installed the MBC I rechecked everything and had to take of the intake just to get to the wastegate, so I know thats on tight.
I will chech the lower ic and upper ic again and hopefuly thats the problem.

HAha, dude, come on. It's simply an IC pipe. Think about it...you just did all these IC upgrades, and you are explaining EXACTLY what happens when an IC pipe blows off. It always cracks me up when people come on and think they've killed their engine due to what seems like severe symptoms, but it's really just an IC pipe. We get this same type of thread once a week or so.
Don't worry, it has happened to MANY OF US. The first time, it makes you think you majorly damaged something, but from now on, you'll know right away that it's just an IC pipe disconnected, haha.

hummMmM this happened to my hatch also and i thought my computer box was messed up. it wouldnt rev past 3000 rpm. it would just bogg back down. i had a built b18c with t3/t4 turbo. could it also be an intercooler piping problem (boost leak)? i stop driving that car for about a month and fired it up again last week and it was fine...rev up to 7 grand and i can shift past 3 grand. still couldnt figure out wat happened
Nah, you could do more than 3-5mph...you just have to shift really early into each successive gear, because when you give enough throttle to even begin to build 1psi, it chokes and sputters. If you're able to keep it in vaccuum while still accelerating, then you're able to move, but it's still hard to get past 30mph even in 5th.
