trade your car in and get the srt-10, and use that 500hp and tow the evo you just sold back home with you

on Sunday, IA performance had a grand opening dyno day. We got to see one of those on the dyno. Very nice looking truck!!! On the Mustang dyno he put down 360HP. Dont remember the torque. I put down 460hp with my evo......he was like WTF??!!!! I was like it aint worth 50K!!!!! I thought it should have been like 500hp or so....guess not!! RRR

Dude I sell vipers for a living. And a srt 10 with lots of miles like 20,.000 is still worth like 55000. So if someone is trying to sell you a 03 or up viper it probably has been in a accident. And if your talking about a rt 10 then you dont want it, trust me they drive like **** and are very uncumfortable, the side pipes make the car very hot after about half an hour. The only good think about a viper is they look exotic and go fast in a straight line and if thats what you want then why the hell do u have an evo.

Not sure how the drive of a GTS/ACR and RAM srt-10 related, but after driving the GTS for half a day I simply got a bit tired (I'm not that old -- 31). It always feels good to switch back to the evo -- just a lot more control and so much easier to drive.

If you really want the viper truck then go for it. You can't go wrong with 500+ hp under the hood. I see a lot of upgrade package out-there for this truck. They seem a bit pricey though. One thing of concern is the depreciation on this truck considering the MSRP at around $50K. Resale value of the evo on the other hand is very amazing.
Wow, I'm 31 too and am selling the EVO to buy a 99 GTS with bolt ons and a coil overs. The car too me is hands down better in every facet except driving position and interior space. When I got back in my EVO I felt like I was in a corolla different strokes for different folks I guess.

I drove two SRT-10's, the engine noise is great, straight line speed amazing but turning braking and gas mileage horrible. I never got more than 12 miles to the gallon! I wouldn'd do the trade. And by the way I payed 35K for two used 2004 trucks with 8K miles on them!

Do what you want but that price is very suspect dude! That truck should still be priced in the high 40's unless something is terribly wrong with it! Check it out closely before diving in!
