Wrecked Evo... Prices?

Ok I hit a curb with my 03 evo and I damaged the front passenger side badly. Pretty much the pictures speak for themselves and the whole wheel setup on the right isnt straight. Here are some pics. What I need to know is, how much will the insurance give me for it to get fixed. I have allstate and I already got a claim number and everything but I cant wait a week to get an estimate and I want to buy parts now. Please give me an estimate of how much I should get.

I'd say over 5k. I had a similar incident with my Audi A4 when i hit a pothole in the rain which was filled with water so i didn't see it nor how deep it was. Turns out it was EIGHT DAMNED INCHES. It hosed my bumper, bent the tie-rod, spindal, broke the wheel, tweaked my axel, subframe, and more misc damages. I think the total bill was around $8,000.

... my A4 was pretty dumped BTW>

You may be right but your car is german so because of that of course the bill for anything will be much higher.

Have you taken it anywhere to have it checked out yet? That is alot of damage and it needs to be fixed right the first time. Take it somewhere and get an estimate.

I think $4-5K is about right. I have been doing alot of research on pricing since I have been looking at buying a salvage Evo - amazing how expensive certain parts are for these cars - especially body parts.

Call mitsu dealers in your area that work with directly with the insurance and let them work it out. That's a lot of work you need

Man! You car looks bad. There was a tremendous about of force and energy to break the rim like that. good luck. Do you plan on keeping the car after is fixed or getting rid of it?

My advice man is be patient. You're only gonna dig yourself deeper by trying to rush things or buy the parts you think you need... You're best bet is to go through the process, but you can lean on them to move things along. I went through a totalling myself, and I had to call the ins. company every single day for a month to keep 'em on track. Granted I had Progressive and you have All State so you should have better service.

There looks like a lot of things bent up under there, and I'll bet the damage runs deep. For example, it looks like the strut is bent back some, so it probably bent the fender where it attaches... All that stuff just takes time to go through. I think people's numbers are about right though.

most insruance companies wont give u a check if the repair is high. my insurance (AAA) CONFIRMED that they will give us a check for sure, but after i went to their authorized shops, they refused to do so. even after i told them i would take it to my own shop, they still wanted to pay the shop directly.
just by looking at your damage, i am seeing $3.5k-$4k in parts plus around $1k+ in labour.
