Evo or 2005 Mustang Gt
How would a Evo Do againts a 2005 Mustang Gt in the 1/4 mile? And how would it do againts in on a Roll Say 30-120? And what Mods would the Evo need to Pull on it? Thanks Andy
God i wish i had my video edited so i could just post it up here.
A Mustang GT gets RAPED by the Evo. I beat one by 2 seconds in the 1320. But i think the guy couldn't get traction because he was putting tire shine on between every pass
. And he definatly wasn't catching up in the back 1/8th either.
Mustang GT is all around a WAY slower car. Any track, any day.
Now a Cobra would be a good race ...If you could find someone that has one and actually knows how to drive it.

So does a Semi-Truck but it can't pull on an Evo, go figure. The evo has AWD, idiot. It locks up while your bulky, poorly distributed, ancient motor bearing Mustang is spinning its tires. may want to check out www.corral.net for more info on how the '05's are performing. also have to remember that they are two different cars.
the mustang is a pony car. it's purpose is based off of the original 65's. it's supposed to be affordable and have some power behind it. the new chassis is better than the previous generation when it comes to rigidity but it comes with a price - weight.
the other is more of a track car. it wasn't necessarilly designed to be a track car but it happened to do well at it due to its inherent nature and weight.
what do you want out of this purchase? handling? power? comfort? family car? cheap insurance? etc...
if you are looking at anything that costs less than a Z06 you'll be sacrificing handling for straight line power.

You guys have it all Wrong... I dont want a Mustang.... I love my Evo I wont trade it for anything... Im just asking how a Evo Will do againts a Mustang Cuz some guy has a Mustang and allways tlk bad about my Evo... and says ooo il spank you this and that..Sorrie for Confusing some of you

well then it depends on what he's done to his car, what you've done to yours, and how well each of you know how to drive your cars =)

Ooo i know This wont be Happening On the Street... It will all take Place at the Track...... Im stock And his Stock... I know my Evo Very Good had it about a Year Now....He knows his Car to... I know 1/4 I will take him... But Im wondering What mods Would I need to Beat him from a Roll.
