For that money, not in a mean way....go buy a decent used wrx. If a person cant afford more than 15k, that usually means the maintenance and insurance will be too much for you.

Generally speaking, most evo owners like to throw a couple mods, or just go crazy with mods. This not a cheap task in itself. Take good care into your decision on buying this car. Its not any fun to own a beast like this that has to be parked, or worse eatin up by the repo guy.

FOr 20 you should have to problem finding one. Everyone thinks thier car is worth more then it is. When they go to sell it they learn they aren't going to get what they want.
I sold my 03 with 7000 miles on it for 24K.

its not my first car, and also isnt my first trubo car. i just sold my 240sx w/ a boosted sr20. the only diffrence for me would be going from rwd to awd. right now im driving a 03 trailblazer and the gas prices/car payments is getting out of hand. i can make them every month, but it dosent leave much

You are not going to get an Evo for $17,000 or less.

Also, the fuel mileage in an Evo is not going to be a significant improvment over your trailblazer.

It sound like you are looking to get a cheaper vehicle to save on operating costs. The Evo is not a good choice for you if that is the case.

I see. However, that is the color I would prefer an Evolution to be in. Too bad the 9 does not come in Yellow, I love that color.

Personally, i would never buy a used Evo considering how badly people beat these cars up. I'd say the chances of getting one for anywhere near that price that has been treated gently is slim to none.

You're looking in the wrong place. You won't be able to get an Evo for that price unless that car needs some serious work or from someone who knows nothing about cars. Plus Evo's gas mileage stinks and maintenance is a lot higher than your SR 240SX.

I had a SR20 240SX and that car cost nearly as much as my Evo to build.
