Going from Evo 8 to 9, who's done it?

I am looking at an MR, and want to know, specifically, if my coil-overs, and front and rear swaybars will fit.

Who's done this?

I don't see why they wouldn't, but I don't think many people have carried over suspension mods like that. However, I think you would benefit GREATLY on the road course with the IX that can make much more power with the same mods and conservative tune - both peak AND mid-range, which is perfect. If I had the patience and ability to put my entire 05 back to stock, I'd have a IX in a heartbeat. They should own on the road course with the MIVEC.

Thanks, I will keep that in mind. I was thinking of getting the MR< and having them switch it all at the dealership. Pretty much everything but the cams. I would also keep the old rims from the Evo, so I could use them for track tires.

I've switched, love it. No more whiny diff, the car actually sounds like its together now. As others said, your suspension items should fit just fine.
