I thought I would share this with you guys... The other day I was rolling down the strip at Ft. Lauderdale Beach.. There seemed to be thousands of people around due to spring break.. As I was driving it seemed like hundreds of people were pointing and yelling "Evolution!! Look at the EVO!" I thought it was pretty neat..
Then when I parked, a corvette club of about 5 different model year vettes parked next to me.. We were all talking about the EVO and THEY seemed to be so excited about it... It was wierd, but cool.... The car just attracts so much attention... Especially in Lightning Yellow!!!

 

Whats up Jonasan ... yea I get a lot of that here too, in Sarasota. Most people don't know what it is ... and others 1st impression is a Lancer with a European body kit or something ... but for the one's who know, they give it a lot of attention and respect.

 

Damn...its about time, the evos get some attention....you must be the man now...i wish i had my evo

what do you mean by "it's about time"??? How long have they been in the counrty again? Damn dude, I have yet to even see one rolling down the street and not sitting on the dealer lot.

That again comes down to drivers... Cause I've run 1 or 2 already and they just sat there and smoked their tires as I just ran away from them... The closest one was an automatic, and it was darn close till mid 3rd gear and he started pulling away... "ALL-WHEEL-DRIVE The unfair advantage..Extrememotorsports.com"
Get a good launch on them and usually it's over....
But it was fun seeing the "respect" that the car does get....
