Q: Re-Flash again after exhaust, but......?
I was told (from searching around the forum) that if I get a flash now to my stock IX, that I would need to flash it again if I get intake, exhaust, ect.
OK, well, My plans are to get an electric cut-out and leave the stock exhaust.
I don't think I would like to have a full TBE do to the noise at cruising speeds and cops and all,.. so I prefer to keep the stock exhaust and a cut-out for the track days.
well anyways, you probably know where im going with this.
Would it be ok if I get it Flash with the cut-out open or closed?????
would it mess with the A/F THAT bad if it's flashed with the stock exhaust and I open the cut-out???
many thanks,
Jon.

You're mixing up your details. It doesn't really matter what you do with the cut-out in related to the tune, but you said "intake, exhaust, etc.," which is much different than just talking about an exhaust cut-out. If you get an intake (as well as some other mods), you will absolutely need a retune. If you get tuned and add a cutout, you will just have to deal with a non-optimal tune when the cutout is open, but it will still make more power.
