Factory ecu on 50 trim... whos doing it

Factory ecu on 50 trim... whos doing it

Im going to be running the factory ecu atleast for a while... what size injectors should i run.... hows the car run with the factory ecu.... is the idle okay with bigger injectors once tuned ofcourse.... im not looking to max the 50 trim out i just want it to run strong

I'm having my AMS 50 trim run off of the ECU. They said there will be nothing wrong with it after they flash it. So I'd take their word and stick with what ya got. Just make sure ya get flashed!

per AMS, you'll need at least 680's. I'm currently running 780's on a TME (I knew I'd be going with a bigger turbo in the near future) with a basic flash. I had to drive around with the 780's for about a week prior to the flash for them, and the car ran fine. Of course I stayed out of boost, but the idle and part throttle driveability was able to adjust to the larger injectors fine. Cold start was fine, but hot start took a few more engine revolutions to catch before the car will start. No biggy though. I think you'll be fine with larger injectors on a basic flash for 50 trim. You probably will only need to adjust the open loop fuel maps in the area where you make good boost, but that'll be up to your tuner.
