Anyone left who "isn't" be hassled by cops?

I keep seeing these rediculous threads about getting pulled over for wings, exhaust, fast looking car etc. I don't know about your area's but around here we have a lot of stupid looking Honda's with F-14 wings, silly a$$ LOUD exhaust's, and suspect drivers. These are all obviously more attractive than an EVO. Prehaps there is more to this "getting Hassled" by the cops than you guys are letting on. Like speeding, racing other cars, taking turns on 2 wheels. Just a thought here.....

I have my fair share of "illegal" and "off-road use" parts installed and I have yet to get pulled over Granted, I can "smell" a cop, I usually kick it into neutral, roll down my window, and smile...I still get nervous when passing one or having them sit behind me at a light.

Granted, I drive like a grandma when I drive, it really upsets me to paying REDICULOUS amount on my insurance due to people being stupid while driving. They AND us end up paying for it later.

I've never been hassled or pulled over in my lightning yellow evo. I usually go the speed limit, or only 5 over when cruising around town

You said it brother. I can feel a disturbance in the force whenever a Crown Vic or Tahoe interceptor is nearby. And I am pretty chill during my commutes. Have not been hassled yet.

That was awesome...

I really don't have any problems with the police. One of the main policemen in my area lives 2 doors down and loves my car.

After taking the wing off, I don't get a second glance. No more ricer fly-by's either.

I have yet to get pulled over (knock on wood) but base stickers on my car has probably helps, I guess being in the military does help with some things. Cops pull up at stop lights and look over then go on about their buisness. I don't even have the front plate on my car that the law requires, and usually go 5-7 miles over the speed limit.

That's why I love Vegas. The cops here do not seem to care at all. Not one cop has given me a second look.

No longer do cops have to focus in on compact cars w/wings - Every yahoo with a P/U Truck seems to have an aftermarket exhaust - nevermind the Harley's
