Does anyone anticipate something like this coming to the US soon? I havent bought my evo yet......

Is the only difference the "FQ300 ECU?"

If so, would there be any benefit to having that ECU over the stock USDM ECU if everyone upgrades to SAFC + Dataloggers/DSMLINK/Greddy emanage/WB02/etc???

Must be only the overseas models which have Evolution VIII words across the back boot as shown in the pic. In Japan only the E7 had that, on the E8 the words are smaller and now located to the lower right hand corner of the boot lid.

Actually I think it's simply a decision made by the former UK Ralliart. I don't believe the JDM standard version has it. I'll try and find a picture... Also you'll notice that on the FQ300 they removed the script style Evolution from the bottom right of the trunk and replaced it with "FQ300" and then created their own "Evolution VIII" to put across the trunk.

No reason not to expect to be able to get the same numbers from our US EVOs.

1) 75mm exhaust
2) improved air intake
3) ECU flash

Cam timing as suggested in the link may or may not be part of the FQ-300's performance enhancements.
