do you mean a spacer between the intake manifold and head that allows less heat soak because if so, i've seen 2 places that sell them. do a search for intake spacer, ithink that's how i found them.

here you go, could've done a simple search and got the same info. search for 122 spacer tested and there's a thread where someone tested one with good results, that is if you know how to search . you're welcome.

Just an FYI, I had a friend with the Hondata spacer for his SE-R Spec-V and it turned into a melted brown plastic intake blocker rather than a intake temp helper. :| Not saying that Hondata products are bad, or even that this will happen to you, but that was his experience.

I used the Hondata spacer/gasket on my last car (03 Civic Si) w/o problems. I'm not sure how hot the IM gets on turbocharged cars, but it helped that car tremendously. The IM was too hot to touch before the spacer, and afterwards, you could rest your hand on there for as long as you wanted.

How much power did this equate to? Who knows?

NP I just woke up on the wrong side of the bed, my girl is a pain in the a$$, and I had to chase some goobers out of the neighborhood last night; they were trying to pose as some newpaper sales people. etc.

My friend bought a used s2000 and it had the Hondata gasket on it. He didn't find out that it was on the car until the car overheated and almost ruined the engine. I wouldn't ever put one of these on my car, but I try to keep my car as stock as possible, in case of warranty issues.
