evo broke down

any buddy gotta clue, waiting for a tow truck, but anyways driving the car, guy passes me, so i decided to pass him back get on it and the the car just loses power??? weird,, anyways i get into a turn lane, put it in first gear, and then give it gas and the car goes a little bit and then startes to jolt and then no power, and jolt... any ideas.. couldnt be the clutch sense it is engaging and shifting gears..

if you blew the ic piping off it will buck like crazy and not boost either.

I third that. I/C piping always seems to be a bi problem if you don't tighten the bolts tight enough. Check all piping connections, and I am sure you will find it.

80% of the time it's the I/C pipe attached to the intake manifold. that seems to be the most common place of where the piping comes loose.

Definitely intercooling piping. I used to have some issues at the connection at the intake manifold. Check there first!

yep, sounds like intercooler pipe to me. I have a completely stock evo and I had the same thing happen. My upper IC pipe blew off while I was driving. It caused my car to not be able to run at all. Just buck and jolt. Just look for the pipe to be off. hopefully the ring is still on. If it is, just tighten it down. Mine kept blowing off until I finally tightened it down with a drill.

boost leak?...check ur piping...all the clamps.......try to check them once a month...or every 2 months
