Anyone besides me actually weigh their EVO on some truck scales or scales at the race track?

When I had my 03 EVO with sun roof I weighed it on some truck scales in my area. With me in the car (I run about 240 lbs), spare in the trunk, and a full tank of gas it weighed in at 3520 lbs with no extra items in the car. Race weight with 1/4 tank of gas apox 3436.

I just did the same thing with my 05 EVO RS and with me in the car, spare in the trunk and a full tank of gas it weighted in at 3420 lbs with my CD's in the car, stereo I added to the RS, and 15 lbs of stuff in the trunk. Take out the 15 lbs of junk and CD's and add 8 lbs for my laptop with 2 lbs for the helmet and my current race weight would be aprox 3330 lbs.

The RS is so loud now with the solid motor mounts and bullet style muffler that I will be pulling the stereo out. Anyone know exactly what a stock EVO stereo (non-SSL) weighs?

I got the MR down to 3375 race weight at Bandimere Speedway up in Denver with 1/8th tank of gas, no spare, no floor mats, no tools, no loose items and just my 225lb self + helmet. No actual weight reduction other than removing the loose items.

I weighed in at 3400 at E-town last year with 3/8th tank.

The published weights for all models:

RS - 3217
GSR - 3263
MR - 3287
GSR+ - 3338

So, I don't know the actual weights when people put them on a scale, but at least you can see that the base GSR initially weighs 46lbs more than the RS.

 

I weighed my car at the recycling place on their electronic scale a few weeks ago and I weighed 3598lbs. I am 180 and I have a box in the trunk with 2 12" subs, amp, etc. Also various piece's of crap in the trunk and a 12 pk of Bud light next to me .

Are you kidding? I always weight my cars at the track, everyone should.

This is the weight of some of my few past cars without me :

05 Evo 8 MR 3110lbs(many light upgrades, no spare, low on gas
06 Evo 9 3280lbs full of gas
Stealth R/T 3752lbs low on gas, no spare
98 GTI VR6 2626 lbs, low gas and no spare tire
91 Civic SI 2190 lbs, full tank, no spare
05 BMW F650GS 502lbs, one helmet, full tank,tank bag
03 WRX 3042 lbs (light mods), no spare low gas
91 GSX 3110lbs full weight

Those were cars I ran at the track in the last 2 years, I owned a few more car in the last 2 years(Miata, another GSX, VW cabriolet,another Honda,other BMW bike) but did not took them to the track to weight them or race them
