I don't recommend any turbokit at this point. Not that they don't make power is simply the fact that the driveability is deeply compromised.

This is his criteria(copied and psted from his topic): I want something i can Drive everyday With not to much turbo lag and Cheap...

He wants a daily driver "traffic friendly" decent spool up turbo, a turbokit isn't going to do it.
I think a Evo 9 turbo is a great choice and definately within a reasonable budget. My choice fully fits his demands..

bigger turbo??

If you upgraded the turbo on a stock motor including injectors and fuel pump you'd have to turn the boost down a lot bro if it's even do-able. ( I know it's do-able, but you'd better be really careful) You'll be hitting fuel cut like crazy. I wouldn't do anything bigger than a 50trim. It'll handle 500+ whp properly tuned and with the supporting mods. who ever said get a TBE with it is crazy, get injectors and a fuel pump just to get you through the next couple months. Without fuel it'll suck driving and you'll never be able to get on it. when you get money then get your intake, TBE and whatever else you want for power.

Well I would hope that the fuel system would be an automatic upgrade with the turbo kit, but whatever. I said get a TBE with it at the minimum, because if he didn't the lag would be a *****.

Get: TBE, cams, injectors, fuel pump, MBC, boost guage, 50trim, EcuFlash, clutch, FMIC, LICP and have fun!

You don't really need to take your time, you just need to do it right the first time. Take it to AMS, tell them what you want to get out of it, and give them your keys. I think that would the the easiest way.

Okay, scratch everything I said. I didn't realize you were on that stringent of a budget. It looks like you have a decent start on some of the parts though. But you still have a ways to go.

Maybe save your money and buy a used turbo for the meantime? Myself, I would hate to get a medium turbo now just to get rid of it later for an even bigger turbo because I wasn't happy with it.

I have a stock turbo from an 03 with 17,000 miles.

If interested, make me an offer.

If you're really that worried about it, I would just replace the stock turbo and do a few minor mods and leave it at that.

You can't go wrong with AMS though. They can set you straight.

For what you're looking to spend, I don't think there is anything. I still say go with the 50trim with all supporting mods though, if you don't mind spending a little extra.

Do a search for 50trim and check out some people's numbers. It's a great turbo.

Well I don't have one yet, so I don't completely know. But from reading other posts it spools only a few hundred rpms later with the right supporting mods.
