Where does the coolant temp sensor go? And what type of tranny oil to use??
I was wondering where the sensor for the coolant temperature is at? What exact loacation? My freind is installing a exedy clutch for me. What type of tranny oil should i go with? I checked at my local pepboys and they carry royal purple and mobile one. What is the proper weight? Thanks for any help guys.
Most people go with the Penzoil sychromesh(same as GM), or the BG synchroshift. Cant really help with the sensor cause I never looked at the thermostat housing, but I will take a guess and say thats where its at(comming from DSM experience).

goodness people recommend stuff without qualifying. diaqueen is what the stock stuff is... if you're happy with the notchy shifting then go right ahead.
penzoil synchromesh has to be replaced more often. if you like changing fluids then go for it.
typically people interested in performance driving get bg synchroshift, it's nice to run two bottles of it and one bottle of redline mt90.
the stock coolant temp sensor is in the thermostat housing
if you want an aftermarket one you have to get a T fitting.
