Are Evo's only good for off the line racing??

can't say anything good about those evo owners that prompts you to race them on the street....street racing are for those drivers who are too young to own a great car like the Evo or Viper.

im 24 and this viper is just one of my fun weekend cars. i do not go to organized illegal street races to race. if there is open road in front of me and if there is a car next to me trying to race me, i will race him up to a point. normally when i drop it into 3rd and by the time i hit 4th, i have a large enough lead already to end it.

Have you ever thought about the possibility that the Evo's just want to see a Viper race or hear it take off? I know there not rare or an exotic or anything but they can still be pretty sick when modded.
Case in point a couple weeks ago there was a Viper at the tracks the other night for the legal street races that I set up a run with just for the hell of it. He had just dyno'd that day at alittle over 600whp so I knew I was going to get killed I just thought it would be fun. Well needless to say I killed him on the launch and had him by a couple cars through the 1/8th but he pulled hard and ended up beating me by 2 cars at the very end. He did have a passenger but he was also running Drag Radials. I lost but it was still fun even though I knew I was going to loose.
BTW, what mods do you have to be pulling new ZO6's?
