Mostlikely the BMW has a more solid and well finish interior and also a much quieter and smoother engine. But the MR also has a very smooth shifting and great torque mate to a instant power and spool up with the 6 speed tranny.

Honestly, while the evo will be faster, and much more fun to drive.. A BMW gives you somethign an evo can never offer, and that a classier look. Most people cant tell the difference between a modded civic with a big wing and an evo. Its considered a rice car by most people. Where as a bmw will be respected by everyone, young and old alike.

I for one dont care what people think about my car and i love my evo; however, giving that you asked what to buy, performance is probably not your first concern. If it was the evo would be the obvious choice. Go for the bimmer for overall value.. go for the evo for pure performance, its that simple.

Umm, yeah. $40,000 for the new GTR? I don't think so. More like $70,000.

if you cared enough about your choice to spend YOUR money, to ask thousands of people you dont know online their opinions, i would clearly say you care only about "status"....go with the BMW..

Nissan is battling for the market against the likes of BMWs and other high priced luxury cars. And it's a freaking Skyline, what did you expect? And more than likely it will be badged as an Infinity once again here in the states.

GTR is possibly going to be priced well over $100K. Think NSX...$70K and value kept on going up.

There is no comparison in performance... But BMW is nice ride but I wouldn't buy it for the price. If you are looking for luxury and more kick to it. I think you should look into IS350 that car might give stock evo run for its money on the highway NOT 330.
