I made a post about this a while back...it's in the future evo section...I heard it from a Lexus dealer also...general consensus seems to be that this is false

Mitsubishi is not going anywhere.

As a matter of fact from a very reliable source, The Evo X for the U.S. market,
will have the GEMA motor in it. It's a done deal.

i wouldnt be surprised if its all being said because they might consider mitsu to one day become a threat to their own market, so of course they will say stuff like this to maybe try and boost their own sales and degrade mitsu by saying they wont be around much longer to deal with issues they may have with their vehicles wheather its a warranty covered or not.

I dont think Mitsu is ever going to go anywhere but if they did close wouldnt that make major parts hard to find and make them really pricey. IE a motor?

Mitsu is celebrating their 25th anniversary in this market and they are absolutely, positively not leaving the US market.

who gives a $hit ? If they do go out, our cars will become more valuable, just like Supra .... Only if I had enought $ to buy another Evo, life would be good even if Mitsu will leave US market.

Didn't Enron show profits, too?

Cause it wont be like supras. All of toyota didnt leave the US market. If all of Mitsu left the US market parts would be rare. Not good if you need them. Great if you have them
