What is the deal with this car. It seems every time something brakes I fix it then something else bakes. WTF. I haven't had my car running at 100% for 1 week in the past year. I dont think all this stress is worth it. I dont care how good of a car it is. Im going to fix the last 2 things that are worng with it and if it keeps up im selling it.

 

User error?

 

Hold it down for a while and run over it with a fine tooth comb. Preventative maintenance is a big part of any well performing vehicle. When one part gives out it taxes the others ....its a horrible spiral. But hang in there guy, you'll get the gremlins out of that ride.

 

I have to wonder that as well.

As many problems as you have had and all the things you have done to "fix" them there has to be something you are doing or not doing to aggravate the situation.

Just get it running and sell it.

 

Your sig says your car does 11 second 1/4 mile and now ur going for 10. That's probably why ur car breaks, it's not cheap to have a 10 second car.

 

If my evo braked on it's own all the time.. then bakes itself.. i'd sell it too.

Word up. Jmartinez, while you are at it fixing those last things, you should just put in your stroker. Just make sure you have the new valve guides if you want to rev over 8250 RPM.

Dude its only a car not a God machine. If you run it that hard dont be surprised if you brake it!!!!!!

 

That's why I settle for low 12s. The car is robust enough to not take a **** every week.
