2 ?s- rattles and shifting to 60
As the title suggests I have two questions. I am about to purchase my first vehicle and decided to purchase an EVO IX MR after driving my friends VIII. My main concern is with rattles. I have heard that most evos develop rattles at some point or another and after driving Jeeps for the past decade I am trying to get away from that. Are rattles common or are just stand out cases? I understand that the 35 grand goes into the engine, suspension, etc but I would hate to drop the coin and still drive something as annoying as my cherokee (rattle-wise).
Second- does the MR six speed require a 2-3 shift to 60 mph? or can you hit 60 in second?
Thanks in advance

I have now owned 2 evo's they do have some noises. Nothing too annoying. I owned a 93 cherokee the noises in the evo are nothing compared to the jeep. You will be very happy long term with the evo. As far as the shifting I am not sure. On the 5 speed you can reach 60 at the top of second. I hope this helps.
