I dunno if I posted this in the wrong forum or not, so mods you can move it as you please but I need help. Okay, I've been an evo fan for a long time now, and my parents just bought me a 2007 Camry SE V6 (268 hp, 0-60 in 6.5s) and of course I love the car and all, but still not as much as an Evo. The Camry is quiet, fast, comfortable, has good materials, and is nice looking, for a Camry.

Now, I dunno why but for some reason I've been barely logging on here lately because whenever I do, I feel bad because I see a lot of Evo's and whatnot. My car basically pales in comparison to you guys' cars. I really do appreciate my parents for the Camry, but I don't wanna let it go. I dont want to trade it in because I would love to have both. It depends on what you want in a car, I guess, because I like the Camry for it's quietness and being fast at the same time and I love the Evo for it's AWD grip and the history behind it. But right now with the Camry, I just feel bad that I dont have an Evo, and it'll be a long time before I get one..

So, what is the point of your thread? Be very happy that your parents bought you a brand new car. In a few years, you can probably sell it and get an Evo on your own.

 

You do realize you didn't ask a question. You just gave us a bunch of information. I'm nineteen and I know how you feel but be happy your parents gave you anything. Not many are that fortunate. You say the camry is fast; then why do you need a faster car? If you want it that bad trade in the camry unless your family has serious cash and will buy you an evo too. There really isn't much to be said here.

I'm sure you've heard this a illion times, but someone that young isn't ready for an Evo. I mean I'm 17, but I've been driving a turboed car for four yrs now. Give it some time and get more experienced.

 

I don't see where you need help.... but I must say the Camry has come a long way~ Be happy with what you got now. You'll have plenty of time for an Evo. You might wanna wait for a later model anyways Congrats on the car~

KEEP THE CAMRY END OF STORY!!! If you get an Evo you will either kill yourself or wreck it. Either one will make my insurance rates go up. Make those Camry drivers suffer not us....

 

Come on man this is about the biggest waste of time. Like everyone said you have a brand new car loaded no less keep it and worry about other things school, girls, friends, etc. I wish that in 10 years you could be shown this thread I would be willing to bet you would think its very silly. Congrats on the new camry I am thinking about one for the wife.
