Thumbs up Agency Power motor mounts " thumbs up" -PICS-

I installed the Agency Power Upper & Lower CNC aluminum motor mounts yesterday. All I have to say is WOW Instantly the feel of the car was different. No more sluggish feeling when shifting, no more rocking of the motor. It just felt much more solid. The vibration was to a minimal, I only noticed slight vibrations when the RPM's dropped low when shifting into first gear. Great improvement in driveability. The motor mounts look great, perfect fit and no problems with installation. It took me about 45 minutes to install both of them. The side mount costs $134 and the lower one $119, All the hardware was included, and bushings already inserted.

Well the lower bushing is red, and the upper is black. They did not give me the option of color. I will try and find out.

Well they are Delrin Bushings, slightly stiffer and more resistant to temperatures than urethane bushings.

as tempting as those look, i dont think i would want to put even more strain and abuse on my tranny then i already have to...

those would worry me in an evo

i had some in my integra, but i didnt have a transfer case to worry about

maybe im way off here, but i would assume the tranny and it's related parts would take more wear...the vibrations and **** have to go somewhere...

Ummmmmmmmmm the tranny is connected rigidly to the engine so what extra vibration are you talking about? It should actually increase the life of the tranny by cutting down on the bucking back and forth during load transitions...

The only reason softer mounts are put into the vehicle from the factory is for comfort purposes, to seperate the driver from the vibrations of the motor. Stiffer mounts are not going to hurt anything but over time you might get a rattle here or there on the interior of you car, thats about it. The bucking of the engine during strong shifts is what wears out you motormounts over time. Constant heat and pressure wears down on the stock mounts and could end up causing more damage in the long run. Stiffer mounts wont damage your tranny, it will just keep it in a more solid position. The vibrations that echo through your driveline are always there if you have soft or stiff mounts it does not matter the vibrations are there. Soft mounts just seperate the car from the motor in return reducing vibrations.

That lower mount looks awesome. I saw on Vivid racing that it does come in black as well. Good option for those who do not have the tools to press out the stock mount to add bushings.
