I hardly see any civic or intergra on the track.. honda is for americans man... the only bad *** honda car.. on the GT500 is the GT NSX "arta mugen etc".. not even the JUN hiper lemon civic... man... so wake up and go rent some japanese tunning magazine or video... sorry but that's the reality... peace..

LoL! How ironic. You don't need to point me to rent japanese videos. I own a collection of a little over 30 vhs and dvd combined. The civic and tegs are in a different class. Sure, the integras runs with the Evo on Super Taikyu, and again, they're on a different class. And if the Evo is so fast, why isn't there one competing on GT300. Bottom line is, you can't compare the Evo to them. That's a fact. On the street, it's a different story. Run what you brung.

Are you mad because you got smoke one before you got your Evo? Did you even have the privilege to own and modify a Honda, in your own time? I guess you are the one that needs to open up and swallow the fact. The Evo is not gods gift. There will always be someone faster and I myself have the privilege of owning the Evo for what it is.

Btw.. jotan.. the gauges are 52mm.

I am in Cali too... so want to meet sometime and see? I can send you a picture if you want to see my ex-NSX.

Did you try running them thru the steering boot by the pedal? Thats what I did and it poked right thru into the engine bay no drilling. Just two seperate layers of rubber this is what I did on my 2g not sure about the evo...just an FYI, might want to check it out.

I am not saying the evo can't be beat, I am just saying that it's better then the rice hondas, why you sell you "turbo" intergra to get a evo? huh? I drove the best of honda, if I can choost all over again, I still choose the evo over the nsx. My Point is, the evo is better car compares to "honda civic and intergra, type-Rices."

besides, I am just helping you here and letting you know that you get a wrong gague for boost... you didn't even thank me!!

The Evo is definitely better than civics and tegs flat out. It's a different beast. You're comparing a rally bred engineered car to an economical engineered vehicle. And the meer fact is that anything can be made fast. The Honda camp has plenty of potential when it comes to power to weight ratio and tons of aftermarket support. I'm hoping to be the same with the Evo but don't be crying if someone indeed hands you down a beating on a silver platter and I'm not just talking about civics and tegs, an LSI SS for that matter with just cut outs.

Agreed.....simple mods on an evo will smoke many cars. You're up in Z06 1/4 mile territory.

I see you made some changes! I still don't see how I got the wrong boost gauge. So if I had bought a 3 bar gauge, would that make you feel better? LoL!

1.5 bar = 21.75psi

Anyway, I've seen discrepancies on how you commented on the civic with "Drag turbo at 7psi max" but I'll leave it alone. Not worth the effort if someone elses opinion is bias!

Happy motoring dood!

Yah.. I saw that too. It's a hard plastic cover and it appears that the firewall is sandwich with some insulators on the engine bay. Would've been so much easier if it was just a rubber boot.

I found a temporary opening just to get the gauge working but will eventually need to relocate sometime when I get a chance!
