Hmm thats very very interesting. If I can get a new, Black Evo IX GSR for 27,999 plus about 1000 for shipping I think I might just end up doing that. Its hard to find good prices on EVO's here in CT.

Hey, I just bought a white IX GSR from South Coast Mitsubishi - for $27,999 + about $2200 in Cali. tax + about $300 in registration & doc. fees + about $800 to ship the car to the midwest (oklahoma)...I will be moving to Calif. soon so I decided to go ahead and register there. You definitely do not want that beat on '05 model if you are willing to spend that much on a car - go with the IX. The only thing I am down about is NO XENONS. (unless you get the SSL pkg. - which I didnt particularly care for.)

I did not know that the IX only came with HID's in the SSL package...that really sucks
