Anyone actually weight their Evo?

There were some discrepencies in the weight of our car vs the Evo VII, so I was curious if anyone actually put their stock Evo on a real scale? I am not sure how accurate those "truck scales" are so I have not weighed mine.

Please post the #'s if you have weighed

I used a truck scale, they are acurate within 20lbs.. My car weighed 3260lbs with almost a full tank. (I need to fill up and try it right away to be accurate)

And my car has a sunroof and spoiler.

I was hoping Mitsu overstated the weight and it actually weighed 3100lbs.

That's not bad considering Mitus has said Evos with a sunroof weigh 3295. Did you need to add 35 lbs of gas to the car?

I think it was pretty full, 35lbs would be about 5 gallons, which is almost half a tank.. I would say it weighs under their estimates. I remember it i filled up the same day, and had not drivin too much. I guess i will have to check again.

I weighed mine on the NASCAR scales during sn SCCA Club Racing event at the New Hampshire International Speedway:

3292lbs.

Extra stuff I had in the car: My coat, camera, cell phone car charger, 6 CDs in their cases, bucket of car care supplies, and owner's manual.... so probably somewhere around 3270lbs.

Edit: oh yeah, full tank.

I weighed mine (sunroof & spoiler) with around half a tank, using a corner weighing system the total was 3220 with a 60/40 split front to back (as advertised). The interesting thing that no one has mentioned (including Mitsu) is how well balanced this car is left to right, we found only a 10 to 15 lb variation on both the front and back side to side. This kind of balance is unheard of in a production car ( guy's at the shop I went to could not believe it) this partially explains the incredible handling of this car. A lot of those so called perfectly balanced cars with 50/50 front to back weight distribution have terrible left/right distributions and thats a lot harder fix (ask me how I know).
When I sat in the drivers seat (225 lbs) obviously the left side got heaver but the worst variation was at the rear and even then it was only a 60lb variation! Oh and from sitting in the drivers seat more weight went to the rear, making the front to back plit 57/43. I am extremely impressed with this car and have some addtitional testing info (dyno/track) that I will post when I have time. I am already late, later.

Yep, rally cars are designed that way because they are meant to support a driver and a navigator.

Most U.S. cars are right side heavy because they are meant to balance out with a driver.

But here's the real question for Silver Surfer.....

Do you think you could take down Goku? By the great Kai, I've tried and had no success. What if he went SSJ 2. Could you still hang?
