Thumbs up Found Leak. Props to dealer

Well for those of you that saw my thread in the other section I noticed a leak from around/on my t-case after the last trip to the track. I couldnt find where it was coming from and my only idea was from the bung on top of the t-case.

Well I took it to the local Mitsubishi dealer and they quickly found the problem. It seems that the vent on the tranny had become plugged and ALOT of tranny fluid had gone over into the t-case causing it to overfill. It then started overflowing out of the breather on top of the t-case. So after cleaning the breather and replacing all of the fluids Im a happy camper!

I have to give major thanks to Appleway Mitsubishi in Spokane, WA. Even with all the mods in my sig they never questioned finding the problem under warranty. Last year they pulled the tranny TWICE trying to find the noise it was making and ended up replacing several syncro's and a few other things that looked worn even though I have a Twin Disc Clutch. Anyone in the Northwest looking for an awsome service department cant go wrong

Yeah I am pretty sure they would laugh me out of the store if I tried to get something fixed under warranty.

Wow, Cool. Glad to hear it wasn't a costly issue.

So was the white nub the t-case breather then? Glad to here it was something simple.

Did you ever get the intake tester figured out?
