turned out to be rack and pinion

i posted earlier that my axle was broke, but it turns out it is my rack and pinion accoriding to the dealership. the guy came up when my evo was on the flat bed. right away he said,"its you rack and pinion, and it aint cheap brotha." so am i bassically screwed or what?
how much is this gunna cost me

Not much anyone here can help you with. If anything breaks related to steering it should be covered under the warranty whether you have mods or not. Of course if you are out of the warranty period then you are ****ed.

Why are you even asking a stupid question like this? Is you smashing into a curb somehow sound like a manufacturers defect? No this won't be covered under warranty, it will prolly cost you over a $1000.
