buschur Stage I woes

ok. bought and put in the warrtalon kit today. there were no instructions, so i did the best i could from what i could find online. one, i cant keep the boost gauge lines from popping off. Also, no matter how high i turn up the MBC, it wont boost past about 17 psi. Im thinking maybe there was an error in the MBC install, as its kind of hard to screw up installing exhaust. also, I have not sent my ECU to dynoflash yet. Help?

Here is a thread for starters that might help.
I'm running a different setup, but I have a feeling that somewhere
in the boost control circuit, might be a good place to start.

that means you have the soft spring and just need to put in the stiff spring. Be sure to turn down the MBC all the way first, then put in the stiff spring and drive the car. It will start in the teens, then you can turn it up. This is normal with the Forge UNOS, since it comes with 2 springs.

I'm not sure why your boost gauge lines are coming off, though. You can definitely find multiple boost gauge install write-ups here on EvoM to verify that install. Did you secure the hoses with zip-ties? Once you get those 2 things in order, then get the flash. Or, you can wait for Al to come to LA in early September to get your base flash in person or to upgrade to a custom flash.

I used some saftey wire on the boost gague lines, which held em on. I will try the stiffer MBC spring, that sounds like it will do it. thanks a bunch.

NP, always PM me right away if you ever have issues. It has my name on the package, so the least I can do is help you troubleshoot, eh?

It's just a combination of mods - not a "kit" per se. These things don't usually have instructions, but we have detailed write-ups with pics here on EvoM.

In cases like this, perhaps consultation with a local dsm wrench would be of help ?

I can suggest either RRE or Dynamic Design in Chatsworth
