VIDEO: Buschur Shopcar: 9.63 @ 153.8

I meant to put this up a while back, but oops! Buschur's best pass at the Mitsubishi/Subaru Shootout, and I believe their best pass to date as well??

Does that car run his cast manifold or a tubular manifold?

If I am not mistaken I think it was mentioned that the manifold(tubular), was custom fabed at Buschur racing.

Man that stinks. Why would they need to custom fab a manifold if they have those great cast manifolds?

I am willing to bet it is more of a fitment issue then anything else, then again AMS can fit a 42R in the stock location quite nicely.

i'm pretty sure it's more than that... the cast manifolds that he uses are for T3 turbos ... a gt42r is a T4.... and i'm sure he could have made one for t4's (?? maybe) however .. it's a fact that the cast manifolds dont flow as well as a equal length tubler manifold

and with their black car i'm pretty sure they are really trying to get everything out of it...

but that's once again allll IMO eh?

PS ... here's a video of it on the dyno... *past thread*

https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...d.php?t=188543

and you can see the manifold it IS a tubular manifold

however i was wrong it is NOT a Shearer... or at least not their normal t4 manifold... after more research i was thining of Al's Car... (dynoflash) he uses Shearer's t4 manifold

so there's your answer

David built the manifold himself, he did buy the collector for it from us though.
