We baught every Evo they had.
And most dealers like to move the inventory. The more cars they sell the more they get.
Some dealer work on little profet and more volume. It all adds up the same to them at the end of the month.
Um, t hat's exactly why this is not believable. SouthCoast sells BELOW INVOICE, because they go for volume. They sell tons and tons of Evos at the prices listed in their threads, because they can make their profit off the volume discounts and/or kickbacks.

However, this is just selling 4 Evos, and you're telling us they did it because 4 is enough volume to justify _5k_ under invoice. So, way LESS volume and another 2-3k further below invoice - that does not add up at all.

hey,

You got a 06 mr brand new for $32,500? That is a great price.Do you know if they have more available. I never bought a brand new car, how many miles do they usually come with? Thanks.
Eric.

No, he got it for 30k, since 32.5 was after tax, tag, and title, and tax is pretty high in NY.

There is no usual amount of miles - it depends on if it was test driven and how often it was test driven. I got mine new with 4 miles the day it came off the truck.

I agree with you and Warrtalon, some like to move cars and others want you to finance, cause the banks give the dealer money for allowing them to finance the car. I work at a dealer and I see it everyday.
I bought my car at Roby Mitsu in Dublin Ohio(614-889-2500, ask for Ronney). She was 33k out the door w/ssl package. I did not want to buy a car sight unseen, and spend $850 bones to ship it, but to each is own.

Your best bet is to come down south and try South Coast or Huntington Beach Mitsu.

aww man, it's not like u live on the east coast...

drive 400 miles down here, trade in / get ur Evo IX MR at South Coast (where i got mine from), then drive the new MR 400miles back....

there u have it. get to get used to ur new car, and finish 400 miles of the painful break in period.

congrats on the conversion btw. u finally saw the light

Thanks for the suggestion with South Coast, I will definitely be checking their prices and calling them soon.

I have always thought about what it would be like to drive the Mitsu on a daily basis, the STi has been a blast but its modifcation perfomance doesn't seem to add up what I have been seeing for the EVO. The new STi's are ugly, really ugly, and I'd like to freshen up with some change. I will miss a few things on the STi, like a good looking instrument panel and that badass rumble from the exhaust

Thanks again,
Mark

Am I missing something? Why not just keep your 05? Why did you have to upgrade to an 06 Sti or Evo? Do you have to buy a new car every year? You are going to take a huge hit for a car that is more similiar than different. Waste of $$$ IMO. Both are nice cars.

If I cant negotiate prices here, thats what I will end up doing. Sell my GTI and get th IX MR in GG. Hopefully in August if not sooner.
