Vibrant Maf Adapter

Link to product

Has anybody used this product. Lancershop sells it and it looks exactly like buschur's intake system minus the filter.

it says it uses a 4.5in inlet filter. Is the HKS RS 4.5 inches.

Lancershop

If you are going that route you can get an adapter on Ebay for like $5.

I think the HKS RS MAF adapter measures 3&15/16" or 99mm, take your pick. Horsepower Freaks offers a 4.5 inch MAF/air filter adapter included in their induction kit along with a K&N cone filter.

Lancershop has always treated me right, and gone above and beyond when there have been some issues..

Anyway, it looks like a quality piece.. Be careful though, I bought a few of these over the years (built a few fresh air intake kits for friends Evos) and discovered that not all of them seat perfectly on the MAF sensor, Although this one looks like a perfect piece, the Ebay ones are cheap castings and you have to file the opening down to fit right..

well i went with a ebay filter to test things out. It looks like the k&n filter and people on diffrent forums said they perform very well and cannot be beat for the price.

There are a lot of vibrant products floating around on ebay. They seem to be of good quality.

I did notice with purchasing mandrel bent piping from vibrant for use with intercooler pipes that there are tool markings on the pipe. These can be removed with polishing or light sanding (for most of them) but some people may prefer to not have any markings.

I believe that you can find vibrant's catalog online also, which has a listing of all their parts (without prices) because they sell to dealers only. At least, I don't recall any prices on their catalog that I found.

Vibrant Performance

With the parts that I have purchased from the company in the past, or that my friends have purchased. Includes half dozen mandrel bends, two mufflers, and a few other things, they have all worked well and have appeared to be of good quality. No problems that I have as of yet.

I have only had one experience with Lancer Shop so far, but it was very pleasant.
