I've got the Helix dump pipe, Helix front pipe, Helix stainless metal cat, and the Trust stainless PE2 catback and my car is only a little louder than stock. According to the engineer who is getting it all RTA (Oz Roads & Traffic Authority) approved it will still be below the 94dB at 4000rpms limit.

I've had it for a week now and love it. What tip are you talking about, the silencer?

My Fujitsubo RM01a is basically stock sounding. I love it.
You just have to get over the slight taper at the resonators.

my question is wtf, isnt it supposed to be louder? other mods on the car are, 10.5 manifold, megan headers, uic piping, ebc, and ingen intake. i mean it sounds really nice and doesnt effect the proformane. but mine was louder with just the tbe and test pipe and thats it. so??????

thanks Charlie

P.S. we checked all the bolt on everything and the gaskets and its all sealed.
you're problem is the catback u chose. that thing is so plugged up that u r losing power! yank that joker & put on a Greddy Ti. it'll be loud then. my '03 runs a Perrin DP, Perrin Test, & the Espelir JGTC500 exhaust & it measured 103DB @ idle & 110DB @ 3k rpm...

I guess it really depends on what you think is quiet. I've got the Megan DP and Catback. I replaced the test pipe w/ the Helix HFC and that thing is still loud... It doesn't drone as much on the freeway, but it's not remotely close to stock either...

I honestly didn't notice a difference at all when I had cams put in... Maybe I'm going deaf...
