Okay, so my driver side mirror gets whacked off by some dumbass who can't pay attention to the road. Everything but the mirror shell is ruined, and now I have a side mirror that's duck taped to my car. I want to replace the unit with another oem one, but they're like $160 or so dollars. I'm wondering if I can use a lancer mirror and just replace the shell so that it matches may car. Has anyone tried this? Or does anyone at least know if the lancer mirror is interchangable to the evo? I don't have too much cash on hand, that's why I'm not upgrading (although if anyone can give me a good price...). So I hope I can resolve this quickly, since my mirror like to oscillate and become loose as I drive faster. Thanks!
