i recently had my 30k service done which included the tcase rear diff and transaxle....i was looking at the printout and was wondering which fluid is used for what...any help please im a bit confused...

these two are the only ones i am wodering about..as far as what was used for the tcase, transaxle and rear diff...thanx again

 

The same oil can be used in the transfer and rear diff. The amount needed for both is 1.2 quarts. The transmission requires a different oil (GL-4) and the five speed requires 2.9 quarts. It appears they rounded 1.2 quarts to 2 quarts and 2.9 quarts to four quarts. They are good capitalists.

I would guess that "Diamo" refers to GL-4 Diamond 75W-85W Gear Oil which is the correct oil for the 5-speed. I would also guess that "Lsd" refers to DiaQueen LSD Gear Oil SAE90. This also is the correct oil for this use. To know for sure you need to return to the dealer.
