Greddy TT problem

I installed the Greddy TT with the Greddy harness, installment is right, everything works ok, but when i turn of the key slowly it feels like the car will turn off for a sec and then the TT kicks in and it stays on, and sometimes when i turn the car off and TT kicks in the car Revs to 3k rpm with the Engine, Oil, Battrey warning lights on, and then goes back to idle and works normal.
Iv searched and noticed that a person had the same problem, he said it was from the greddy harness, and changed it to the HKS harness and everything worked fine and smoothly. So if i change the harness will it work perfect? and does the HKS harness work on the Greddy TT?

All comments are welcomed, Thanks.

I use the HKS harness with my apexi tt and the only thing that happens to me once in a while is that all 3 acd lights and the srs light comes on for a second when I turn off the key, not all the time though. The harness is cheap enough that it's worth a try switching it out I guess. That doesn't sound good for anything having the car half shutoff and then kick back on.

Most people said in other threads that the HKS harness is the solution for this problem becuase the greddy is cheap in qaulity, you have the HKS harness and still face the same problem with the warning lights! Did your car ever rev to 3k and back to idle like mine?

does the car ever shutoff altogether? thats the problem im experiencing....if i slowly turn the key off, the tt wont catch,it counts down but doesn't keep the car on, i extended the harness but used a smaller(larger gauge) wire to extend the thick red wire....that may be the problem???? also i was reading through the forums and it seems if you switch the green and blue wires on the harness the "dip" is elminated......now i did this before installing it and it still has a dip.....not sure if its because i switched the wires or the smaller(larger gauge)extended power wire......gonna go see if i switch the wires back to regular it will help.........also i've heard people not having a problem with the hks harness, whats the difference??lancershop has a pic and it looks the same as the greddy 1....anyhow have you gone on greddy.com and read the manual on the tt???setup maybe the reason yours is not working....

I have the greddy TT with the HKS harness with absolutly no problems. Don't take this as fact, but i believe the greddy harness isn't really for out car. I believe it was designed for the eclipse and i think one wire was different. Like I said, don't take that as fact, but I can say the HKS harness has been working perfect for me for the last 7 months on a daily driver and not a single hickup on the way.

Mine does the same thing, only when you turn the key very slow. So the fix for me is....turn the key off faster.

Yea, I have the Greddy TT with HKS Harness. I don't experience any of the problems that you mentioned above. So I guess, try HKS Harness and post your new results.

Gluck.
