do you need a tune after 10.5 hs swap?

do you need a tune after you swap and install a 10.5 hs? i searched and read alot and could not find anything.

No, but to get the most out of any mods, you need a custom tune. Your boost could change, so be cognizant of that and adjust accordingly, but the tune won't be thrown off so much that it requires a tune (like an intake or injectors would).

ok thank you. on you packages for a VIII it says about 300Whp. now i have a 03 with a the stock turbo, so would i get a little less? and if i were to swap to a 10.5 i would get 300 whp?

it's a give or take - the number is not exact. Some 03s will hit 300whp and some won't. Some 05s will hit 310 and some won't. I just gave an average number for all VIIIs, since there are many different dynos in different weather conditions at different altitudes using different corrections with different levels of mechanical quality put into the car, etc etc. Having the 10.5 SHOULD put you a little higher than with the 9.8.

you'll get in the neighborhood of 300 with both, 10.5 hotside should provide better top end and maybe 10hp.
