Sweet car man...I've heard that car has a curb weight of 2734lbs..With that kind of low weight compared to our cars i would say the thing would be real quick, especially with the mods he has...

Yes, with 400-500 less lbs, it could very well be very quick, but not at 15psi.

Well, when you go out and run a 7.5, let us see the vid and timeslip. We run 20psi stock on our 16gs and don't get near 7.8. It requires all your mods plus over 20psi and great driving to get there. If it's hollow, then it's not a hi-flow cat. A hi-flow cat is a cat that is just higher flowing than stock.

I think he might be referring to a disco potato, or something of the type. Basically, a ported 16g housing with 20g internals. It supposed to be all 'stealthy' when a person looks in your engine bay and sees a 16g. I've seen a few turbos like that for various DSM's. I think SlowBoyRacing carries one or two. I assume that's what he's talking about?

And to the OP, Warr isn't being a dick, he's asking for further clarification. What he's saying about 16g's IS true. There's obviously a communication error here. He hasn't called you any names, and hasn't even been rude. He's just wanting to know more about your setup (as do I).

aight i do apoligize for callin him that which i will change but what he is not seeming to grasp is infact that the turbo is not a stock 16g which is why we callin it a bastard. for all i know it does have 20g internls, reason which i could pull such a time...BUT my boys evo with a STOCK 16g pulls his time ALL DAY LONG...in fact i bet if you where to line a evo 3 runing stock 10psi to a evo 8-9 which runs 20psi stock, the evo 3 would probably win....

Well, I can't speak for the last part. I know I've seen ported 16g's with 20g internals. So, that's not too crazy of a concept.

As for an Evo 3 being faster than an Evo 8/9 with only 10psi, and otherwise stock? No idea. I'll leave that to the more knowledgeable here. I will say that it doesn't sound right. Especially the 9's.
