Finally decided on a catback.....JIC

Ok i've done some pretty extensive research for the past couple weeks and I finally decided to go with the JIC 505 Stainless Steel. I was almost positive on buying a Turbo XS exhaust but the JIC fits exactly what i'm looking for. Does anyone have any experience with this catback? I would like to see some more pictures if all possible. I've also heard a rumor that the JIC catback is a true JDM exhaust which makes the fitment on a US EVO a bit short of clearing the rear bumper. I've read this in a thread that was about 3 years old but is this still the case or have they fixed that? I just love the way this exhaust looks.

good muffler. Are you looking at the full SUS, SUS/TI, or full TI?

I'm just getting the 505 SUS. It's much more in my pricerange and it's still much lighter than the stock exhaust.

nice sound at idle and low speeds, not to loud for a daily driver... The higher the RPM, the more agressive it gets!

Don't know how it compares to US-Evos, though... Since I'm german, I have a JDM-Evo (meaning a "proper" one )

Here are a couple pics of the JIC exhaust on my car (from over 2 years ago.) I've still got it, but it's pretty grimey now.

I love it. I also have the JIC DP coupled with the a UR test pipe. It gets loud at the higher rpm's thats for sure. Before I installed the TP it was pretty civil for daily driving. Fitment was great. I did not have blackening of my rear bumper until I removed the cat, I guess the UR TP is just a hair shorter or something. It may also have been due to retightening/repositioning some of the slip-fit components.

Great power, sound, craftsmanship, and killer looks! I also have the JIC DP and Perrin CD.
