Modesto Mitsubishi in Modesto, CA called me and they just got a silver EVO8 this morning. i just bought a Montero Sport XLS from them so i'll be going back there to pick up my Lancer that i left behind. I'll let everyone know how much they'll be selling it.

well i went to pick up my blue lancer today and the evo was right in the back. saw the detailing guys driving it and man, that monster is loud. i was in the showroom and saw them pull the evo in the middle and what i saw was a shocker! dealer asking price was $40,006. they want $9,995 mark up. that is crazy! well my wife ended up getting a lancer oz black with customized leather seats with the ozrally logo on the driver and passenger seat . i'll post some pictures later. now i got a lancer blue es, montero sport xls awd, and a brand new lancer black oz. crazy huh!

 

It's ridiculous how much some of these delers are trying to mark up the car. But I guess there are suckers there who will pay whatever asked.

 

damn! someone is mitsu crazy!!! jk i think it juss depends on where you live. i live in san antonio and they only want 30 grand.. w/ or w/o a sunroof. i drive by the dealership everyday from work and they keep piling up. dosent look like anyone is buying them. too bad those are beautiful machines.

 

i was talking to one of the salesman and he said the first 2 evos they received they sold it at $48,000 each. i was like WHAT THE HELL??!!! he said you're lucky to even get it at $48k. i said bs. well i guess there are 2 evo owners in the central valley (both buyers were from tracy,ca) who paid too much.
